Greenworks, Inc. is the result of publishing exceptional periodicals for the last two decades. Britt & Brett Miller, owners of Greenworks, Inc started in 1989 with the creation of Network Publishing. Network published several customized publications including The Truman Lake Area Vacation Guide, The Raintree Lake Phone Directory, and The Louisburg Chamber of Commerce magazine.

Network Publishing’s corporate assets we’re sold in 1999, and Homes of Kansas City Inc. was created, and operated as Top Agents Homes Magazines. Top Agents published “Homes” magazines for Top Producing Realtors® such as Koehler/Bortnick with Reece & Nichols.

Corporate assets of Homes of Kansas City, Inc. we’re sold in April of 2003, and Free Publications was created and published development magazines for builders and developers marketing sub-divisions and developments such as Rockwood Falls Estates, Tuscany Reserve and Barth Communities.

In 2003, an affiliation with Sunshine Media was formed resulting in The Real Estate Executive Magazine, MD News, and The Builder Architect Magazine, trade magazines for each of those markets. During the years publishing Builder Architect in particular, Britt & Brett built a house and fell in love with the Green Movement.

Each step of building a house allows Green or Greener choices to be made. Now as these methods and products become more affordable, it makes sense to at least consider such Green methodologies. Noticing a great spike in interest in the Green content published at the time, as well as additional ad sales, Greenworks, Inc was born.

Building Greenworks Magazine mission is to produce and distribute an unbiased magazine highlighting Green products, procedures, and services to a targeted audience of builders, developers, and new construction real estate professionals. The magazine will be delivered by direct mailing hard copies, and expanding it’s reach with digital editions, a state of the art easy to navigate flip book.

Building Greenworks Magazine is the Green Magazine for the Green Builder. The magazine is printed using soy-based ink and recyclable paper stock. The paper stock is made of partial post consumer waste and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI). Products with the 100% FSC label come from forests certified as being in compliance with the environmental and social standards of the Forest Stewardship Council.
